PUMICE - GRADE 0-1/2 8 lbs shipped in the new Greener Life Club Box: A safety-sealed, freezer-safe and microwave-safe PP container (pail) with a resealable lid and removable handle. Naturally calcined volcanic glass foam consisting of highly vesicular strands permeated with tiny air bubbles. Highly porous, allowing it to hold both water and air. Its frothy, friable glass vesicles afford pumice its unique and infinitely useful qualities. Light weight. Absorbant. Naturally filtering. Exfoliating. Abrasive (gentle enough to use in skin care products as well as metal and leather finishing formulas). Used in heavy-duty soaps (to remove grease), shower gels, body gels, wood/glass/metal/leather finishes, gold leaf applications, and as a spill containment agent, soil aerating and draining agent, and filtration aid.
